As a proactive industry body, the Association continuously engages and collaborates with a wide range of government ministries, regulatory bodies, and national institutions to advocate for the interests of the industrial sector. Throughout the year, the Association liaised closely with key entities such as the Ministry of Industries, Ministry of Finance, and the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, providing timely industry insights, policy feedback, and recommendations on matters impacting the manufacturing and industrial landscape. Additionally, the Association maintained active communication with statutory authorities including the Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) and the Central Environmental Authority (CEA), addressing critical issues related to market regulations, sustainability, environmental compliance, and consumer protection. The Association’s contributions have played a significant role in shaping national dialogue on industrial development, influencing budget proposals, and aligning regulatory frameworks to support business growth. This continuous engagement underscores the Association’s commitment to acting as a bridge between the private sector and public institutions, ensuring that the concerns and perspectives of its members are effectively represented in policy formulation and decision-making processes
